Join me for gentle self-massage & somatic practices in this nervous system centered, trauma-informed gathering.
Each week we will be invited to explore:
⋒ mindfully making contact with our bodies
⋒ our nervous system states and how they might show up in our bodies
⋒ tuning into our felt sense through honoring sensations, emotions and boundaries
⋒ discovering different depths & types of touch
⋒ grounding, settling and being-with techniques for when we feel activated or overwhelmed

Workshops will take place on Fridays in November from 4-5 PM EST. You can calculate for your time zone here.
Our practice time is short and sweet because embodiment* can be overwhelming and containment* can be helpful.

What if I can’t make it live or come to every class?
That’s totally okay! You don’t need to attend each time, or at all. The recording will be there for you, and you can come and go as you please and as your life happens. Also: each workshop is self-contained with a trauma-informed introduction, so no worries if you can’t attend each one.
Will this be more lecture or body-based practices? Both! I will share a bit about the nervous system and the techniques as well as how to connect with your body in a trauma-informed way, and we’ll have time for self-massage, gentle movement and more.
What do I need to participate?
You won’t need much (besides a zoom account), but you might like to have:
Something to write with, a space to be, comfy clothes, water, anything that will resource (we’ll chat about this in the workshop) you!
What if I’ve never done this before?
You don’t need any previous experience with bodywork. Exercises will be gentle, and you don’t need any special experience or equipment to participate.
