The Okasha family needs our help!
After losing 30+ family members, their home and their health; the Okashas have no choice but to flee to Egypt. Parents Hatem and Kefah are struggling with worsening health conditions and they are without access to medical care.
Hatem is growing weak and his heart needs medical attention. He’s been without care and medication for months. Kefah suffers from diabetes and high blood pressure and also desperately needs medication and medical care.
Their two sons, Mohamed and Saifaldeen are with them in Rafah. They are living in tents with little to no food and after 140+ dangerous days, they are seeking safe passage to Egypt.
To reach safety, the Okasha family needs our urgent support.

Hi, I’m Jess of Soft Path Healing and this is my dear friend Kathryn Metz.
Kathryn met Ahmed in 2019 in Sarajevo, where she was a humanitarian aid worker monitoring border violence and he was in transit to the European Union seeking asylum. The Balkan route to the EU was arduous, hostile and rife with violence against people in transit.
Ahmed was traveling with family; his brother, Khalil and several cousins and uncles. Despite the horrors that they faced in transit, Ahmed was committed to keeping his family together and ensuring they maintained their dignity.
Since the genocide in Gaza began, Ahmed has done everything to help his family members in Gaza from afar. His parents have remained adamant that they want to stay in Gaza, but as food becomes more scarce and their health continues to deteriorate without life-saving medicine, they realize to stay alive they have no choice but to evacuate.
HOW DOES THE RAFFLE WORK?
Head over to Ahmed’s GoFundMe and make a donation of $10 USD or more! Each $10 donation is one ticket. You can donate $50 and get 7 tickets, or $100 and get 15 tickets!

WHERE DOES MY DONATION GO?
Your donation goes directly to Ahmed’s family so that they can make safe passage to Egypt. They need to raise 45K Euro by March 6th, so time is of the essence! Their need is urgent and every donation to the GoFundMe makes their safe passage possible. They have arranged their crossing into Egypt with a travel agency; all they need are the funds to make it possible.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY PRIZE?
Prizes are delivered via mail in the United States only; and virtually via e-mail to anywhere in the world. The maker or business owner will be in touch with you directly and will deliver the prize to you.
